Sanitation workers have found additional humans remains in a neighbourhood in Seattle, that is believed to have been dumped by a murderer.
The local authorities said that the remains are most likely are those of a woman killed by the man that was revealed in a homicide investigation. The police believes that the man dumped some of her other body parts in a recycling bin in the previous week. The workers said that they found that remains in waste container in front of a house in the same neighbourhood where a homeowner had found a head and other body parts around a week earlier.
John Charlton has been charged with the first-degree murder in the death of Ingrid Lyne, who was 40 years old mother of three children and lived in Renton. The police believe that Charlton dismembered the woman and duped her remains at various places. The police investigating the case of homicide also stopped several garbage trucks and emptied and searched for additional remains.
Detective Mark Jamieson said, "We're confident that it is connected to last week's homicide investigation, which was only three blocks away from where we are standing now."
Charlton is in jail on $2 million bail and faces at least 28 years in prison if convicted. He is also facing charges of stealing her car, which was found in Seattle on Monday. He said that he and Lyne attended a baseball game a week ago and when they returned home, he was intoxicated and does not remember what happened. Lyne's ex-husband reported her missing Saturday morning and the police had found her remains near the bathtub at her house.
